Trailer for Blood: The Last Vampire, an English action-horror movie. It’s a remake of the 2000 Japanese anime film of the same title.
The live action movie premiered in Japan and Asia in May, followed by UK in June and with limited release in the US this month.
Set in Tokyo, the story focuses on a half-human, half-vampire girl who hunts vampires in partnership with humans.
The Cast
Korean actress Jun Ji Hyun stars as the main lead. Japanese actress Koyuki plays the last boss, while remainder of the cast are westerners.
Credit as Gianna Jun in this film, Jun Ji Hyun is popular across Asia after starring in Korean movie My Sassy Girl in 2001.
Meanwhile, Koyuki is probably best known for her role in 2003 Hollywood film The Last Samurai and 2005 Japanese TV series Engine.
