First encounter in Toaru Kagaku no Railgun

The scene where the four main characters in A Certain Scientific Railgun anime series first appeared together (in the first episode).

It’s a fun show… I’ve written a bit about this before. And the second season is coming soon in April 2013, can’t wait.

It’s the second season of the anime series; I have written a bit about the show in an earlier post which you can read here.

The “S” in this sequel probably stands for sisters, which if it’s the case implies that it will focus on the clone storyline.

This is going to be a good season for me because of the Railgun sequel and a new instalment of Hayate.

Yahari aka OreGairu is from a popular light novel so probably worth a look. And I’ll probably check out Girls und Panzer too, it just ended and seems like it’s trending in Japan.

Little Busters started as a visual novel in 2007 with a harem theme. It’s about a high school kid and his friends, with Rin as the main heroine.

It’s one of the best selling video games in Japan during its release period. It expanded into manga and anime series later on.

BTW it’s not uncommon for a video game to turn into an anime. Beside Litbus there are also Clannad, Idolmaster and Fate/Stay Night etc.

How anime is made at J.C.Staff

Episode nine of the second episode of Culture Japan, a show by Danny Choo. It features behind the scene stories of J.C.Staff, a Japanese anime studio.

The company is the producer of Honey Clover, Shakugan no Shana, Nodame Cantabile, Toradora, and also A Certain Magical Index etc.

Danny Choo is a popular otaku blogger and he recently branches to other media too. He created Mirai Suenega, a mascot for his new “empire”.

This episode also features Sekai no Yumi who works at AmiAmi, a popular online character and hobby shop. She appears in an earlier episode too.
