Ritsu = Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop. Who are the others though?
Speaking of K-On! apparently the anime series has only 13 episodes. Too bad it’s that short because it looks good and really fun so far.
Bet they will make a second season soon.

Mio~ nurse costume play
Fan art of Mio Akiyama from K-On! in nurse costume, must be Sawako’s fault.
BTW, if it’s not obvious enough, I named this blog after Mio chan.
Mio was my favourite in the beginning but later I like Ritsu more. It’s because she seems to have more character whereas Mio is too perfect-ish.
Mio rice bowl
I heard all the blue-striped rice bowls are sold-out in Japan because of K-On!
Haruhi is back, and K-On! is coming too
Kyoto Animation will produce an anime adaptation of K-On!
It’s originally a four-panel comic strip manga written and illustrated by Kakifly. The story is about the members of a high school light music club.
The anime series will start showing in Japan in April 2009.
Haruhi’s fans will probably feel sad as this means that the rumoured second season of Haruhi Suzumiya is not going to happen, at least not soon.
Haruhi Suzumiya 2nd Season
Update: Apparently there will be a second season for Haruhi Suzumiya. It’s not a direct sequel but an extended version of the first season.
They added 14 episodes into the first season and will show both seasons in full starting April – 28 episodes in total – same month with K-On!
I guess it’s double joy for Kyoto Animation fans then.
