Founded in 2002, the event is Malaysia’s longest-running convention that focuses on animation, comics and games.
Comic Fiesta plays host to the largest amateur creative art market in Malaysia, similar to Comiket of Japan. Cosplay is the second focus but seems like it’s drawing more attention instead in recent years.
No harm done though. I guess the cosplayers help bring extra visitors to the festival and hence more people to the art booths too.
