K-On! is on air. The first episode of the anime series seems promising. It’s fun and the characters are cute, it’s going to be a popular show.
The opening and ending songs are also good, which probably lives up to the hype of a music themed anime.

It starts with two childhood friends (Ritsu and Mio) trying to rescue the light music club of the Sakuragaoka Girl’s High School.
They recruit two more members because they need four members to keep the club running. That includes a mysterious rich girl (Tsumugi), and also a cute airhead (Yui) who knows nothing about music.
Yui is obviously star of the show but I hope to see more development with other characters too.
