New prototype of Project Morpheus

Sony Computer Entertainment has unveiled a new prototype for Project Morpheus – a virtual reality (VR) system for PlayStation – at the Game Developers Conference held in San Francisco.

AKB48 theater welcomes one millionth paid audience

Japanese pop group AKB48 welcomed their one millionth theater audience (with paid ticket) in Akihabara on February 25th, 2015.

Team K captain Yui Yokoyama welcomed the special guest – a female college student from Osaka – on the group’s behalf.

AKB48 had their first theater show on December 8th, 2005, with seven paid audiences. The group is now the biggest pop acts in Japan, and a huge franchise with various sister groups.

Despite the mainstream success the daily show is carried on as usual (full attendant per show is 250, and it’s usually full these days).
